As the General Importer for the European Union, VIERWERK GmbH guarantees the compliance of all safety related engineering calculations and load tests with the LTF-L/UL, European acceptance as per § 11 Abs. 4 LuftGerPV.
Type Certificate received
The AEROLiTE 120 has been type certified as an ULM EU version by the French Civil Aviation Authorities on November 20th 2014.
The base of this certification process was the German design manual LTF-L, wherein all stress calculations/ load assumptions, physical load tests, test flight program were accomplished and documented by inspectors and test pilots accredited by the DAeC (Deutscher Aero Club) and DULV (Deutscher Ultraleicht Verband).
Therefore the AEROLiTE 120 complies with all major requirements in accordance with the LTF-L and the parameters for the 120 kg category.
The Aerolite 120 has also registered within the microlight registry of the Federal Republic of Germany in accordance with the civil aviation act, approved by the Ministry of Transportation.
Summery
The AEROLiTE 120 may now be legally operated in:
1. Germany as a deregulated 120 kg category Aircraft (Leichtes Luftsportgeraet), legal documents „Fiche d´identification“ ULM, declaration of conformity (VIERWERK GmbH).
Pilot license: sport pilots license „LL“ (leichtes Luftsportgerät), no expiration date, no medical
2. France as an ULM, „Fiche d´identification“ single seat ultralight, 300 kg MTOW
3. Great Britain as a SSDR (single seat deregulated) microlight, 300 kg MTOW

The AEROLiTE 120 comes equipped with a Magnum 250SP ballistic parachute supplied by Junkers Profly. Each individual AEROLiTE 120 (RTF) will be type-approved and test-flown before it gets delivered to our customers. VIERWERK provides a thorough flight briefing and technical introduction to every customer.
